Where do you deliver?

We deliver anywhere in the UK.

 

How much does delivery cost and how long will it take?

We've tried to keep the prices down as much as possible and offer a standard delivery charge of £5.95 for customers that are happy to receive their items between 3 – 5 days. However, some items may be received next day. Please contact us should you wish to confirm delivery timescale.

 

What happens if my order comes over two deliveries - am I expected to pay postage twice?

No. If your order consists of several items these may be despatched across multiple deliveries, however delivery is charged only once per order.

 

What if I'm not in when you make a delivery?

The courier that delivers your order will leave a card to confirm that they have attempted to deliver your order. You may be able to call to arrange a more convenient delivery day or track your order online.  Distributed Sound & Video Ltd shall not be liable for further delivery and collection costs where you fail to take delivery at the given delivery address, and after reasonable notification to you that delivery is being attempted, by the Courier.  If delivery is impossible or impractical on 2 or more occasions, then we may cancel your order and deduct the additional delivery charges from your refund.

Will I get back the original postage and packing charges that I paid if I cancel my order?

If you cancel your order within 7 days after receipt of your goods, and you cancel the whole order, we will refund the standard postage and packing costs you paid as part of that order (if any), in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations. We will not refund any postage and packing charges if you cancel after the seven days allowed under the Distance Selling Regulations or if you only cancel part of your order.

You have 30 days from receipt of goods to return your order or part of your order.

 

What happens if the goods I receive are damaged?

We advise that you inspect the goods immediately upon receipt. If you discover that the goods are damaged you may notify us within 3 working days by emailing: sales@dsavltd.co.uk. If you fail to inform us that the goods are damaged within 3 working days you shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods.

Where a claim of defect or damage is made the Goods should be returned to Distributed Sound & Video Ltd. You will be entitled to a full refund (including delivery costs) plus any return postal charges if the Goods are in fact defective.

When can I return my order?

If you wish to return your order please contact us on 0800 917 4345 or email us at sales@dsavltd.co.uk so we can provide you with a returns number before you return the goods.

 

Business Customers

In the event that Distributed Sound & Video Ltd, at its discretion (unless the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 apply, see T&Cs), agrees to accept the return of credit for unwanted products, the goods must be returned with Distributed Sound & Video Ltd's prior written agreement within 14 days of delivery. The goods must be un-opened and in perfect re-saleable condition. All goods returned under these circumstances (except where the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 apply, see T&Cs), will be subject to a handling fee of 15% of Distributed Sound & Video Ltd's sales price for the goods, or £20, whichever is the greater.

Consumers

If you wish to cancel an order placed with Distributed Sound & Video Ltd please email: sales@dsavltd.co.uk before delivery.  Alternatively, you can return your order for any reason within 14 days of receipt of your order, for a full refund (including delivery charges, if any) except return postal charges. The goods must be un-opened and in perfect re-saleable condition. This is in line with the Distance Selling Regulations. You do not need to give any reason for cancellation.  However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

If you have purchased digital content (e.g. software) You can cancel your order within 14 days of receipt of your order, for a full refund unless you have downloaded or started to download the goods.

We strongly recommend that you retain your receipt from the Post Office as proof of postage until you have received credit for your return. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods. Goods must be returned by you at your expense and should be adequately insured during the return journey.

HOW TO SHOP

If this is your first time shopping at our store, follow this simple step-by-step process to make your buying experience smooth and hassle-free.

  1. If you know what you're looking for, start shopping by selecting the product category links: e.g. AUDIO, MICROPHONES, PROJECTORS. You can also shop our featured products through the TOP TECH category link, or our FEATURED product and CLEARANCE stock through the links on the home page of the site. If you have a specific product in mind or are unsure where to start, you can simply enter a key word or product code in the search box on the homepage.
  2. Once you have found an item you want to buy, type in the quantity you want and click on the 'ADD TO BASKET' button.
  3. You can then either click on the 'CONTINUE SHOPPING' button, or review the items in your shopping bag by clicking on 'VIEW BASKET & CHECKOUT'.
  4. In the Shoping Cart you can enter any discount codes you might have and click on 'APPLY COUPON'.
  5. If you're happy with the items in your shopping cart and you have a PayPal account you can choose to pay by clicking 'PAYPAL CHECKOUT'.  If you wish to pay by card click 'PROCEED TO CHECKOUT' to complete your order. You will be able to use the 'REMOVE THIS ITEM' button to remove products from your basket if you change your mind.

HOW TO CHECKOUT

Once in the Checkout returning customers have the option to Login and new customers have the option to Register or checkout as a guest. You do not need to create an account in order to shop with us but if you do it will only take a minute and once set up you'll be able to:

  • Request a Return

Just click on 'REGISTER' to fill in your details.

When you are ready to checkout simply follow these steps:

  1. BILLING INFORMATION - Enter the address your payment card is registered to.
  2. SHIPPING ADDRESS - Enter the address you would like your order delivered to.  If this is your first order, the delivery address must match the billing address.
  3. SHIPPING OPTIONS - Choose the delivery method that's most convenient for you by selecting one of the options provided.
  4. PAYMENT INFORMATION - Enter your payment details.
  5. ORDER REVIEW - Review your order

Once you have placed your order successfully we will send you an order acknowledgement email confirming that we have received your order.  Once your order has been accepted and processed we will send you a dispatch notification email confirming that your product(s) have shipped.  If you have registered with us you will be able to log in to your account at any time and check the status of our order.

We will contact you via email or telephone if:

  • we require further information from you to process your order
  • we need to make changes to your order (e.g. availability dates, product upgrades...)
  • we encounter problems during delivery
